Join Alicia for a fun, inspirational two-hour introduction to oil painting, perfect for beginners! We’ll explore the basics of oil paints and how to use them, before you create a beautiful, atmospheric painting like the moon image shown, which you’ll complete on a canvas available to purchase from Ruth’s art shop. The workshop costs £25, with all materials provided (excluding canvas), so you can relax and enjoy the process without any pressure — just paint, experiment, and have fun. I’ve been painting for 8 years, specialising in British oil landscapes that celebrate the quiet magic of our wildlife and natural spaces. I love helping others discover how expressive and enchanting oil painting can be, and I can’t wait to paint with you!
